Sarah is the COO of Lowercarbon Capital, where she oversees both strategic and tactical operations for the firm.

She was most recently at Crooked Media, the political media company home to the “Pod Save America” podcast, among others. In her six years guiding Crooked’s operations, Sarah grew the company from six to one hundred-plus employees and built out a thriving podcast and video network. Sarah also served as the company lead on several multi-year strategic partnerships to secure and diversify revenue streams, including a multi-year licensing deal with SXM Pandora, a Fortune 500 company.

Prior to that, Sarah worked at Maker Studios, a digital media company that Disney acquired in 2014. There she served as the General Manager for one of their largest and most high-profile brands, overseeing everything from partnerships to operations.

Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Harvard College. She has been recognized by multiple publications, including Variety’s “Forty Under Forty” and Hollywood Reporter’s “Thirty Five Under Thirty Five” lists, and she remains permanently eligible for both.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, Sarah can often be found in her garden encouraging a variety of fruits, vegetables, and California natives. She also enjoys the challenge of trying to train her dog, which she calls a “lab,” but in whose face you can definitely see the pitbull.
