Rebecca is an Operating Partner at Lowercarbon Capital, where she oversees events and special projects that strengthen and activate the Lowercarbon network. She also works directly with Crystal Sacca, Lowercarbon’s Co-Founding Partner, as well as Chief Creative Officer, on the firm’s many creative endeavors.

Through her entrepreneurial and executive career, Rebecca has earned deep expertise in the venture and startup ecosystem, with an eye towards leveraging design, touchpoints, content, and community in service of meaningful progress and impact.

Rebecca’s journey with Lowercarbon Capital began with Chris and Crystal at Lowercase Capital in 2015, first as a collaborator and then as VP of Operations, leading community engagement, rolling out creative projects, and supporting venture and social justice portfolio management. She has since been a steward of the company’s enduring brand, values, and guiding principles.

Rebecca started her career at the Commonwealth Club of California before moving on to venture at Trinity Ventures. Combining her experience in public affairs and entrepreneurship with her passion as a maker, Rebecca founded a creative studio focused on community strategy and design for clients including Uber, The Information, Lightspeed Ventures, YPO, and more. She has since held executive and partner positions at Slow Ventures, NewView Capital, and Offline Ventures.

Rebecca graduated with honors from the University of San Francisco with degrees in Classical Literature and Environmental Science. She was born and raised in the mountains of Montana and is a passionate outdoorswoman, avid fly-fisherwoman, and practicing yogini.
