Quentin is an Operating Partner at Lowercarbon Capital, where he executes brand strategy and crafts written communication for the firm and its many portfolio companies.
Quentin comes to Lowercarbon as an award-winning advertising creative director and copywriter with more than 20 years experience helping companies articulate their purpose, tell their story, and connect in meaningful, human ways.
Throughout his brand-building career, he has developed campaigns across all media and in just about every category, including consumer and business tech, personal and institutional finance, energy, entertainment, food and beverage, and telecom. Early on, he found he had a knack for translating complex business offerings into compelling narratives, making even the wonkiest companies relatable.
Advertising awards don’t mean much to folks outside that industry, but boy do they mean a lot to ad people. So in case any of them are reading, Quentin has won multiple Cannes Lions, One Show Pencils, Clios, and D&AD Pencils. His work has also been recognized by many publications, including The New York Times (the one accolade his parents care about).
Today Quentin is thrilled to take his experience working on global brands like Microsoft, Barclays, HBO, and Coke, among others, and apply it to climate tech companies doing their damndest to save this planet.
Quentin graduated magna cum laude from Brown University with a bachelor’s degree in Classics: Greek and Latin. In his spare time, he enjoys solving crossword puzzles and periodically going down to the garage to tinker with an old screenplay. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and daughter, whom he loves dragging on hikes all over the Bay Area.
