Christina is an Operating Partner focused on talent across Lowercarbon’s portfolio of unreasonably ambitious startups. She supports founders in building and growing their teams, connects top talent to careers in climate, and develops inclusive strategies to build diverse pipelines of both technical and non-technical recruits. The technology will succeed, the dollars will follow, but for companies to grow we need many more people to shift their careers into climate. Enter Christina.

Prior to joining Lowercarbon, she was Head of Recruiting at OpenAI, an AI research and deployment company dedicated to ensuring that general-purpose artificial intelligence benefits all of humanity. She built foundational recruiting processes, hired for key positions, managed talent programs, implemented diversity recruiting practices, organized events and conferences, and led a team of recruiters, sourcers, and recruiting coordinators. During her 3.5 years there, Christina grew the organization by 4x with top AI researchers, engineers, operators and leaders.

Before that, Christina acted as a Senior Recruiter at Cisco Meraki, a leader in cloud controlled Wi-Fi, routing, and security. While there, she hired critical software, firmware, and security engineering contributors and leaders. Prior to this, Christina began her recruiting career at Robert Half, a global staffing and recruiting services firm, where she partnered with dozens of companies across the Bay Area to help fill their organizational needs with excellent hires.

Christina earned a B.A. in Sociology and Criminal Justice from Gonzaga University, studying the impacts of social stratification and inequality. Born in Alaska, Christina has slowly been working her way down the West Coast, and has been in San Francisco for the past 9 years. She loves to travel to new places but equally enjoys being a homebody, especially if it involves cooking a nice meal or playing board games with friends.
